Couchsurfing pt.4
Well, I drove my hitchhiking Hungarian couchsurfer out to Hudson/St-lazare this AM. I figured that this would be the best place for him to catch a lift to Ottawa on his journey to Calgary and then Alaska... crazy MOFO. All in all it was a great experience. I'd do it again. Even though dude was a little odd. Nothing weird, just that he barely spoke to me in the 48 hours I was hosting him. Oh and the fact that in that time all he had to eat was a ham sandwich... I think he had severe jet lag, a huge language barrier and the fact that two nights in a row I brought him out until the wee hours of the morning. heheheheh... Montreal is alive! He said he had a good time, and I think that on his way home, he will stop by again for about a week before he goes home to Hungary.
Good travels Matays! Be safe.
One thing is for sure, my travel bug has been awakend. Dormant for a whiile... I really feel like I need to get out of dodge. I hope couchsurfing.com is going to get back on it's feet. I've volunteered my time and skills as a designer to help them do whatever they have to do. I suggest that everyone who loves the site do the same. It's given so much to us, it's time to give back.
