It's booked!

So, a couple of days ago, I booked my flight to Bangkok. I'm so excited. 28 days backpacking solo through a foreign land. Sleeping on beaches, elephant treks in the jungle, scuba diving with exotic aliens. I think I'm most excited about the food. Apparently you can take one or two day cooking schools in Chang Mai (Northern Thailand). So I'm going to look in to that. I was looking in to some sort of motorcycle tour of Thailand but everything I could find cost in to the $2000 range... no thanks.
And yes, I know that there were bombs in Bangkok a few days ago, but I'm not all that worried. I'd rather die in a bomb blast in Bangkok than get hit by a car crossing Mt-Royal if you know what I mean. Anyway, the bombs already went off... so it's not like it's an ongoing threat, like rioting or whatever... even here in MTL, there is a ton of violence and danger.

If anyone has been to Thailand, let me know. I'd love to get some hints.
