Birthday weekend with King Hajo

King Hajo was back in town after having lived in Kuala Lampur for just over a year and, Friday was King Hajo's b-day; mine is on Monday... so we decided to take advantage of the fact and go out... all weekend as it seems... I'm so fucking tired right now... Thank god I didn't drink much.

Friday: Salon Daomé - DJ Andy WIlliams... this was aweome. Real dancable funk from the 70's. I have no idea of any other places or DJ's in MTL that play this kind of awesome music... I'm gonna keep an eye ou for the next time he plays. And Salon Daomé was a nice space... big dance floor (not that I dance often... I have this affliction where I only dance with my upper body).... I wonder what kind of stuff usually goes on here... home @ 3:30...

Saturday: After a BBQ @ my place with Kajin, Nikita and Bubi... we headed out to Casa Del Popolo and when the band got anoying and too loud (god i'm sounding old on the eve of my 31st) we left and then met up with Zebulon. Shortly after, Nik and Bubi left; so Zeb took us on a tour of the bars he designed and did some interior designing stuff in... off to Plan B (ummm... yeah... not really my kind of place to hang out, but he did do an nice job) and then to Billy Kun. It's near closing time and King Hajo and myself take off and walk back home... It's two nights in a row that I crash around 4am... thank god I don't drink much as it made getting up this morning much easier...

T'was a nice birthday weekend, reconecting with an old friend.
